eBay is making it easier to list items for sale. You can now scan a barcode on the item in question, choose a description, set the item’s condition and click “list your item.”
eBay even more efficient
eBay is moving to a one-to-one match system within its catalog to help brands fine-tune their listing, thanks to the new eBay mobile feature.
The change is meant to trim down the amount of time required to post an item, while giving sellers a pre-populated stock photo, along with a recommended price and shipping recommendations.
To compete with resale apps like OfferUp or LetGo, eBay is trying to put its own app ahead of the competition, which are currently rated higher on app stores.
Big numbers
eBay has seen over 13.4 million listings added on a weekly basis through its mobile app alone, proving the service is still very lucrative.
eBay’s use of structured data and incorporating the latest technology will make its way to other products and features but for now, will bide its time with the business of bidding.
