Back in May Facebook launched Dynamic Ads for Travel, a service designed to help travel providers attract more bookings.
Things have been going well for social travellers, so Facebook has added three new features.
Up and Away
Travel providers can now promote hotels and flights, reach greater numbers of travellers with audience targeting, and capture attention with more creation options.
Facebook will pull in data from which content users have browsed to promote relevant flights, or up sell on recently booked flights.
To get more creative, Facebook is using what it calls ‘social context’ to sell travel deals. This involves showing users cities their friends have visited, to make the ads feel more personalised.
Brands can also use Facebook’s Collection Ad Format with Dynamic Ads.
Flybook
Facebook reports that after Air France started using Dynamic Ads, the airline achieved 12X the amount of conversions at 57% lower cost per booking, compared to previous Facebook campaigns.
The updated features are now available globally. To find out more visit facebook.com/business.
Do you use Facebook to book travel? If not, where do you prefer to shop?
