Instagram's been busy Spring cleaning.
First the network added a long overdue zoom function, now Instagram has dropped photo maps, but gets better at shooting in the dark.
Low light
Now when shooting in low light, a moon-shaped button appears on the bottom of the screen.
Tapping the button automatically optimises settings to capture images and video in dark conditions.
Unusually, the feature only works with Stories, not regular Instagram posts.
Off the map
Instagram has also called quits on its photo maps feature, mainly due to lack of user interest .
However geotags locations remain, meaning brands can still tag locations while 'Gramming.
