In the spirit of egalitarianism, Microsoft has announced that its cloud service OneDrive and Windows 10 are teaming up to offer some nifty new features.
Cloud talk
Windows 10 users can now access files on their devices without chewing through valuable hard drive space.
The Files On-Demand function in Windows 10 now lets you preview your OneDrive files. No need to open or install an app.
You can then download them if required, for full functionality.
Enterprising update
You can also preview OneDrive files in Explorer, and indeed any app that can open your files.
The feature is similar to Dropbox’s Smart Sync, however Enterprise customers get an added sweetener. After updating a shared file, it will be synched automatically across you and your colleagues’ devices.
What’s your cloud service of choice for work? Let us know in the Comments.
