Dropbox has launched Smart Sync and other updates for business users.
Keep in synch
Smart Sync lets you view all your files and folders on your desktop, regardless of whether these files are stored in the cloud or locally. Any file can be downloaded with a double click.
Dropbox says Smart Sync allows users to access terabytes of data using either Windows File Explorer or macOS Finder. This means no more swapping browsers to view certain content.
Smart Sync also lets admins decide which content is assigned to cloud-only or locally synched.
Better controls
Dropbox also brought Dropbox Paper out of beta, and launched the tool in 21 languages. There's also improved AdminX controls and security settings for Dropbox Business customers.
Finally, Dropbox also rolled out new business plans that can be tailored around your usage needs.
