Slack moves closer to One-Screen Nirvana

They say less is more, a sentiment Slack is taking to heart with its latest update: one screen. Well, almost one screen.

One Screen to Rule Them All

When you download an app from Slack’s App Directory, you can now bring together various workstreams into one place. Until now, you’d be swapping through screens faster than Tom Cruise in Minority Report.

Apps built for Slack can now also use dialogues, which appear as pop ups in Slack.

Spread the love

Slack now has over 30 apps in its directory, with more on the way.

At the moment, there are apps that allow you to refer a friend for a bonus, create tasks for team members, reply to customer feedback, and update sales leads and opportunities.

That’s something Slack rival Workplace by Facebook doesn’t offer – for now at least.

Check out the full range here.
