Here’s a simple but nifty update from Google: Smart Reply in Gmail.
Smarty Pants
Smart Reply uses machine learning to suggest responses to your messages, based on their content.
For example if a customer wants to meet up, Smart Reply will offer a range of meeting times you can select and send with a few quick clicks. You can also edit the response if required.
Smart Reply gets smarter the more you use it. So if you tend to sign off with “Cheers” more than “Yours Sincerely”, the feature will adapt your language patterns.
On-the-grow
Until now Smart Reply was only available for Inbox by Gmail and Allo. Google says 12% of replies in Inbox for Gmail are powered by Smart Reply.
Smart Reply is now available for Gmail on iOS and Android. It’s rolling out globally in English, with Spanish to follow shortly.
Have you used Smart Reply or another form of automation in your emails? Let us know in the Comments.
