Getting fans on YouTube just became easier with the launch of Fan Finder.
Content creators
Fan Finder launched recently and allows content creators attract new followers.
Fan Finder works by inviting creators to upload a video that introduces new fans to their channel and services.
Once uploaded, YouTube will then seed the video as a TrueView video advertisement targeted to viewers most likely to engage with the content creator’s offering.
Best of all, YouTube is offering the service for free – for now at least.
Subscribe and thrive
The move is the latest from Google as it seeks to turn YouTube into a place for serious video producers with dedicated subscribers – not just clips of kittens.
Video advertising is on the rise across social, with YouTube and Vimeo both offering ways monetise videos, while Facebook and Instagram both gearing up to launch video ads next year.
To find out more visit youtube.com/fan_finder. (Just remember your video can be skipped after five seconds, so keep it snappy. Click here to get inspiration from some top notch channel ads.)
