Google has just announced TrueView for Action, a new video ad unit for YouTube.
Roll up
TrueView ads are optimised for mobile, allowing brands to include a call-to-action banner both during and at the end of your video.
Banner text can be tailored – for example “Get a quote”, Book now”, and “Learn more”.
Google says the TrueView for Action ads are advantageous for brands offering products and services with high consideration elements, such as finance, automotive, and travel.

YouTube also revealed that 47% of US adults aged 18 – 54 years report they visit YouTube at least once a month to assist with purchasing decisions. That’s a healthy 70 million users.
TrueView for Action ads are now being tested with select advertisers.
