Google has just rolled out an app that makes it easier for Android users to manage their emails on the go.
Get up and go
Gmail announced the update in a blog post, explaining Android users can now pull all their email addresses into one place.
"These days, many of us have more than one email address.
"However many email addresses you have, today’s improvements to the Gmail app for Android make it easy to manage all your mail from all your accounts (yes, even @yahoo and @outlook) while you’re on the go,' Google Software Engineer Régis Décamps explained.
Less is more
Now Android users select the "All Inbox" option in the Gmail app to access all their email accounts in one place. Previously, users had to switch between inboxes within the app.
The update includes improved auto-complete functionality for searches, and support for conversations that originate outside of Gmail. For example, chats you may be having on Yahoo and Outlook.com.
The update is a handy one for Android users juggling a number of email accounts and brings them into line with iOS users, who have long had access to similar features.
