Google's nascent messaging app Allo has released a bunch of new features aimed at attracting millennials.
Share to care
The Allo faithful now get a split-screen mode, and handy app shortcuts.
While Allo iOS users can now draw on images before sharing them, a feature already available on Android.
Young things
Google is pushing Allo heavily to the kids. It recently hosted a Stranger Things scavenger hunt in New York, and released a related sticker pack.
Along with its video calling app Duo, Google seems to be weening users off Hangouts and onto its more consumer-based offerings.
For business owners, Hangouts is now sporting enterprise features such as synching across devices, and of course more emoji than you can poke a stick at.
