One year ago Google launched My Account, a service designed as a hub for all your Google-related activity.
To celebrate turning one, My Account has received an update that lets iOS and Android users locate their lost phone.
Google Phone Home?
Now you can type "Find my phone" into Search, and Google will aim to show you where your lost mobile is located.
When Google triangulates the last time your phone lit up the network, you have the option of calling it.
Call it in
Aside from Find my Phone, My Account has also received a few new bells and whistles.
You can now perform a range of activities including locking or wiping your phone, leaving a message or callback number, and signing out of your accounts.
Accessing My Account can also be done verbally, simply by saying "OK Google, show me my Google account".
Simple huh?
