Pinterest has launched ad groups, designed to give marketers more control over their campaigns.
Pin to win
Until now, Pinterest ad campaigns were composed of two elements: the campaign and Promoted Pins.
Now Pinterest campaigns get a third element with ad groups. This feature gives you greater control over your Promoted Pins, in addtion to budget and targeting options.
For example, individual budgets can be tweaked within a larger campaign, and multiple Pins can be tested against different targets and objectives.
Stay on target
Ad groups works in a similar way to related services on Facebook and Instagram, and forms part of Pinterest's bigger move to open the platform up to advertising.
