In our digitally connected age it can be hard to gather your thoughts amid the constant ping of reminders and notifications.
While it may not completely get you offline, Vesper offers a new spin on note-taking apps.
Simple Simon
To start using Vesper you simply tap a button to start composing your note, with the option of adding an image from your photo library.
However just one image can be added per note. While this might not appeal to all users, it’s an interesting way to keep your note taking focused.
Take note
Notes can be categorised and tagged, while existing notes can easily be archived or deleted with a single swipe.
Once your note is completed, Vesper lets you share via email, SMS or copy and paste into another app.
Conspicuously, social sharing is absent – along with synching for cloud services such as Dropbox and iCloud.
Less is more?
While some may baulk at the lack of features and sharing options, others might be drawn to the paired down approch. Especially when so many apps now come bundled with range of options often unnecessary for daily use.
If having more offline options sounds like good news, Vesper might be for you.
Vesper is available for iPhone and iPad. To find out more visit vesperapp.co.
