Socialomate simplifies multiple-step Twitter campaigns for marketers

Socialomate, a new tool aimed at marketers, enables users to cut down the time spent sending direct messages on Twitter.

Marketers can engage and grow their relationships through social media, customising and automating messages to new and existing followers.

Autoresponder

Socialomate has a number of useful tools that marketers could find useful and timesaving when engaging with their followers, primarily through automated direct messages to new followers.

With the ability to store up to 10 custom messages by content, timing and order, Socialomate allows brands the opportunity to engage with its followers early.

Users can set customised messages to be sent at specific intervals, for example a band could send a welcome message immediately after being followed, an album plug the next day and the day after, a link to vote for them in an upcoming awards show.

Twitter Campaigns

Marketers can also use Socialomate to send a set of direct messages to all their followers, or followers from one of their Twitter Lists at their own discretion.

The benefit to this level of control is that automated messages can coincide with a Twitter marketing campaign, again saving hours of time that can be spent elsewhere in the campaign.

Other features include a limit of 200 direct messages per day, saving some for private chats as Twitter only allows 250 in total, and an opt-out function where direct messages won't be sent to specific followers.

Tracking

In addition to easily sending out hundreds of direct messages, Socialomate can also track which followers have clicked on any links you might have included in your messages, and note those who haven’t.

Statistics noting the amount of subscribers since registration, the amount of new subscribers in the last 24 hours, total messages sent and total clicks achieved, providing insight into the performance of the automated messaging, both for the brand itself and in seeing which direct messages were successful.

Pricing

Prices range from a little over $6 per month to link a single Twitter account, up to about $60 a month to manage 50 separate accounts.
