Blogging on-the-go just became easier for iPhone and iPod touch users, with Google unveiling the first official Blogger app. While Blogger, the popular blog-publishing service owned by Google, has long had a dedicated app for Android handsets; this new app gives Apple users the latest in mobile blogging know-how.
A picture is worth a thousand words
Available as a free download from the iTunes App store, the Blogger app allows photos, tags and locations to be easily added to posts. Importantly, it synchs across several devices, allowing posts saved on computer to be updated from a mobile device, meaning users always have access to the latest version.
Business opportunities
As businesses establish more personal relationships with their audience, blogs are an excellent way to keep customers abreast of new developments while engaging directly with them. The Blogger app gives the flexibility to blog up-to-the-minute, image friendly content to customers whether in the office or out and about.
