Facebook has loosened the reigns and will now allow Verified Pages to share branded content.
Content Kings
Branded content covers a broad swathe of posts: text, photos, video, Instant Articles, links, 360 and Live videos.
Now Verified Pages can share all these with the aim of monetisation down the track, Facebook said in a blog post.
Keep 'em keen
Facebook says it hopes the update will encourage Verified Pages to share higher quality content.
However there's no such thing as a free lunch. It's worth remembering that sharing branded content can include an obligation to disclose its commercial nature.
