According to a recent blog post, Twitter is testing mobile notifications that alert users when their friends are discussing TV topics.
For example if your friends are discussing this week's episode of The Voice, Twitter will now know let you know about it.
Too much noise?
Twitter is the most successful social platform when it comes to TV viewing, and has already rolled out features such as TV Trending.
If the new experiment proves successful it might get more users talking about the tube online.
This would potentially prove a ratings hit for Twitter, for engagement levels and a stagnant stock price.
