We often report about Twitter tinkering with new features for users, but the platform is equally committed to expanding its offering for brands.
Here’s are two recent updates from Twitter every marketer should know about.
Retargeting
Retargeting is the practice of targeting ads based on consumer's online behaviour and habits. For example if you visit the Myer website but don’t make a sale, you may notice Myer ads the next time you visit Google or a news site.
It’s a handy way of delivering relevant ads to customers, and now you can do it via Twitter.
In a recent update marketers can now add tags to their website, that will retarget their customers on Twitter.

Website cards
This handy update lets users feature their website content within a tweet. For example, clicking on the tweet give users a quick summary of your business and its offering.
Twitter explains this will help marketers connect with new customers by attracting users searching for specific keywords, locations, and areas of interest.
