Social app of the week: Pio Smart Recorder

This new iOS app makes finding, tagging and categorising audio files easier on your iPhone.

You can highlight important moments of your audio recording by tapping the beginning and end points.

Unnecessary clips can be deleted and each segment can then be reviewed, named, and colour-coded to make searching more streamlined.

Transcribing teamwork

You can also add helpful data to your files. For example, if conducting an interview your subject's name, title and photo can be added.

Voice memos can be uploaded via Dropbox or Google, so you can catch up when back at the office.
