Behold! Instagram GIF stickers

Instagram has added the ability to place GIF stickers on any photo or video within a user’s story.

The stickers are alive!

Now, when you go to place a sticker on a given video or photo in stories, fashionable users will be happy to find a new GIF option.

A library of trending GIFs brought to you by GIPHY will enable users to browse thousands of stickers, from stylised animated fonts, to grumpy cats, and just about anything the internet has to offer.

And one more update

Soon, Instagram will also be rolling out the ability to upload videos and photos at any size within stories, eliminating forced cropping of treasured photos.

Users need only upload content and pinch in order to share its original dimensions. Any additional blank areas will be auto-filled with custom colour gradients matching your video or photo.

The new updates are included on the latest Instagram V.29 on Android and iOS with more improvements to be expected on the horizon.
