Google has just increased its security for brands with an update to Google Drive.
In the Driver's seat
Now users can prevent users from downloading, copying or printing shared documents.
The feature can be accessed via the Information Rights Management tool in Drive.
Safety first
The update will help brands who share documents with multiple users and third-parties stay more secure.
As Drive faces stiff competition in the cloud-storage space from Apple and Dropbox, every little update might help in retaining users.
At the time of writing the update was only available to web users.
