Microsoft has got people buzzing with the announcement of a free version of Microsoft Teams.
Impress with less
The tasking platform has been available since 2016 along with a $60 a year fee, those who may have been put off by a subscription price need fear no more, thanks to the new Microsoft 365 integration.
The free tier of Teams is surprisingly robust, offering unlimited chat messages and search, built-in multimedia calling for groups and individuals, 10GB of team storage and 2GB of personal.
Up to 300 members can be added to a team and easily integrates with Office Online apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
That’s not all
This version of Teams will also integrate with over 140 business apps, which includes Adobe, Evernote, and Trello and should please users with existing projects, so it helps that Teams can hop in midstream.
Enterprise customers have been joining the bandwagon which is always a good sign but small businesses are the real goal, making up as much as 90% of business globally.
The free tier of Teams includes 40 languages and is available today so you can get cracking with your projects without much to-do. For Office users, this new reach could be going for the top shelf.
