AdWords has just rolled out a new update that lets marketers automatically import Salesforce data.
Roll up
The feature is found under the Linked accounts menu, where Salesforce.com is now an option.
The update allows Google Click ID to talk to Salesforce when customers complete a range of conversion actions, such as downloading a white paper after clicking on an ad.
Marketers can then set conversion events they're following in Salesforce. AdWords will import these events and track them as "milestones".
Open invitation
The automatic importing initially rolled out as an invite-only feature back in June, while similar functionality has been offered by third-parties for some time.
But casting a wider net, Google might be hoping to convert more marketers to AdWords.
