SMK’s app of the week: Expensify

One of the most important, and least glamorous, parts of running a business is keeping tracks of expenses.

Happily an easy and economical way to keep on top of your finances is iOS app Expensify

Expense it up

Expensify synchs with your credit card to import transactions in real time, which can then be used to create an expense report.

Expenses can be automatically categorised, or you can create custom fields that cover everything from car mileage to reimbursements.

Scan and save

One of the features we really like about Expensify is the way it uses the iPhone camera to scan and upload receipts, submit expense reports and reimbursement through Quickbooks and Direct Deposit.

You can also create PDF reports from your scans, which can then be sent to customers or the finance department.

Finally, Expensify is compatible with over 160 currencies and international taxes.
