DIGITAL MARKETING NEWS

Three LinkedIn Groups you should join today

LinkedIn is the social platform of choice for Australian professionals for a reason – it helps connect users with like-minded colleagues, customers and future clients.

And one of the best ways to keep your finger on the LinkedIn pulse is to join a Group. Here are three we believe anyone in the Australian and New Zealand digital space will get a lot out of.

1. Digital Marketing

Going strong since 2008, Digital Marketing is one of the largest Groups on LinkedIn with over 450,000 members.

While not the place for an intimate catch up, Digital Marketing is one of the best online communities for marketers to swap tips and tricks from everything including SEO, email marketing, analytics and PR.

The Digital Marketing Group also provides a steady stream white papers and industry reports, in addition to regular meet ups.

2. B2B Social Media Lead Generation

On the other side of the spectrum, the B2B Social Media Lead Generation is a more tight knit bunch of local marketers.

Started by Sydney-based marketing expert Tom Skotidas, this group specialises in using the major social networks and blogs to generate leads.

If you're a B2B professional looking to generate sales, this is place for you.

3. Australasian SME Alliance group

Launched in 2012 this Group offers thought leadership to SMEs across Australia and New Zealand.

Founded by Bradley Birchall, this active Group has over 600 members that discuss everything from management tips, capital investment, industry events and financial advice.

Great for SMEs looking for peer advice, support and insights from professionals at the front line.
