While Facebook continues its dominant and very profttable streak, the social network is far from impervious.
A new report suggests the majority of teens now list YouTube as their platform of choice.
Video beats Likes
According to Mashable, a study from The Futures Company shows 50 per cent of teens list YouTube as their favoured social media platform, followed by 45.2 per cent for Facebook.
Next most popular came Amazon (27.8 per cent), Google (25 per cent), Twitter (19.5 per cent) and Tumblr (12.3 per cent).
Twenty-somethings
Facebook is still favoured by over half (55 per cent) of users in their twenties, followed by Amazon at 37.5 per cent.

Facebook recently admitted its popularity among teens was declining, which led to a slight drop in its share price. In October Facebook rolled out a new feature allowing teens to publicly post.
