Inbox by Gmail has just got a little more mobile, and now alerts you to upcoming tasks directly from the app.

Alerts from Trello, GitHub project updates, and Google Alert previews are now integrated within the Inbox app.

Google Drive is also easier to use with Inbox. Drive links can be inserted directly into emails, while attachments can be saved straight to Drive.

You can also drag-and-drop contacts between to, cc, and bcc in Compose on the web.

Efficiency experts

Google says this is just the start of its plans to expand Inbox. If it takes off expect integration with an increasing number of services.

The Inbox update is now available on iOS, Android, and the web.
