Twitter announced the news in a blog post.
"The launch of the Twitter Official Partner Program brings together our strategic partners from the Twitter Certified Program and the Twitter Marketing Platform Partner Program," Twitter explained.
Big business
Twitter says its official partners were selected based on their high-quality products, expert-level services and past success on Twitter.
To kick things off Twitter is teaming with IBM, who will be using Twitter metrics to inform their social marketing campaigns.
Marketing mix
Official Partners isn't just good news for big business, it's also designed to help marketers, advertisers and brands.
Twitter says the program can lend assistance across areas including optimising campaign performance, analytics, engagement and content curation.
