Google and Twitter have reached a deal that will see tweets become instantly searchable.

According to a report from Bloomberg, once tweets are posted they can now be searched via Google. 

At the time of writing it's unclear how Promoted or deleted tweets will be indexed.

Careful there

The deal could mean a lot more exposure for brands looking to reach beyond Twitter's 284 million tweeters. 

It's also a nifty way for Twitter to address its slowing rate of new sign ups. 

Pause for throught

The update also means users should be more vigilant before sending that next tweet. Twitter missteps are fairly common, usually harmless and easy to fix.

However under the omnipresent lens of Google, a wayward tweet could potentially spread like virtual wildfire.
