Amazon has just updated its Flow feature so it now allows users to make bespoke shopping lists.
Go with the Flow
Amazon Flow, the service which allows users to take a picture of a product on their smartphone to compare prices on Amazon, is now part of Amazon's main iOS app.
Previously a stand-lone utility, Flow lets users scan products and create a shopping list by scanning the barcode.
Flow then calculates which products are available at Amazon, costs and expected shipping times.
One stop shop
The update is only available to US consumers at the moment, but hints at the way Amazon is looking to integrate itself into the retail space.
While the days of ordering something online and having it delivered to your door by an Amazon drone might be awhile off, Flow shows another way mobile is moving into the retail e-space.
