Not quite sure if that super-important email got through to that super-important contact?
Never second guess yourself again with iOS app Mailtracker.
Stay on target
Mailtracker works on a simple premise: it allows you to know when people open your message.
To be fair Mailtracker is also a full service email client, but its real selling point is this pseudo-stalky feature.
Ear to the ground
It works like this. Once set up via email services including Gmail, Google Apps, Yahoo and Outlook, Mailtracker sends you an alert when your email has been opened.
There's also additional, slightly controversial metrics available including the recipient's location, how long the email was opened, and their device it was accessed on.
Mailtracker does this by piggybacking on the iPhone's default mail app.
Responsive
Once your secret missive arrives you can leap into action via a variety of options including “Reply” and “Callback”.
And if all those alerts get too noisy there's a mute option.
While Mailtracker won't be for everybody, we're betting there's more than enough curious folk willing to give it a whirl.
