SMS Support for Molly

While Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum has reportedly shown the first signs of recovery since slipping from a ladder at his home last week, this week the Big Screen at Federation Square will display public messages of support.

The public response to Meldrum’s fall has been immense, especially on Twitter where the hashtags #Molly and #LoveYouMolly have been the second and third highest trending topics in Australia this week.

Julia Gillard, Kylie Minogue and Russell Crowe have also tweeted messages of encouragement.

SMS Support

This Wednesday fans and supporters can send texts that will appear on Federation Square’s Big Screen at 11am. The texts will then be passed on to the hospital.

People are invited to send an SMS to 0428 520 347 between 9am – 12.30pm on Wednesday 21 December.
