While Facebook and Twitter might get all the headlines, it's worth remembering there's are plenty of social networks with seriously impressive numbers.
Today's case in point: Snapchat.
Triple treat
Snapchat has confirmed its users now watch six billion videos every day.
This figure is more startling considering that in July Snapchat had 2 billion daily video views, and 4 billion in September.
The growth marks a tripling of views in five months.
Snappy
Snapchat videos have been around since 2012, and allow users to post videos up to 10 seconds in length.
The figures are part of a larger trend towards video on social. Facebook recently announced that 8 billion videos are viewed every day on the platform, a doubling of figures in less than a year.
And get ready for the monetisation to roll in soon. Snapchat is reportedly preparing to launch more tools for marketers in the new year.
