The 8 App puts brands in touch with social content producers, big and small.
Lure the people
Participating social media users can ‘get offers from brands that love you’ via The 8 App, which is available for iOS and Android.
The 8 App claims a super-refined UX that makes it the easiest way to receive sponsor offers from brands and then post out from the app to connected social media accounts.
Further, their definition of ‘influencer’ is much broader than most. They spread their net beyond the big fish to capture what they call micro influencers (between 3k and 100k followers) and nano influencers (with as few as 10).
Lure the pay
The 8 App pushes the idea that the small fry influencers can add a lot of weight when used en masse. They claim 80,000 social media users already on their side, with a total network reach estimated at 1.3 billion across all platforms.
Competing against the likes of Tribe and PopularPays, The 8 App is betting that UX and nano influencers will be important points of difference.
If you’re pursuing an influencer-led social strategy, you should test all available avenues that can be measured and compared. The 8 App’s raw numbers look impressive, so bookmark it as a network worth trying.
What’s your strategy to get influencers on-side? What services have you tried or are you considering?
