Looking to edit your next viral vid but don't have access to an edit suite? Never fear, help is at hand with Vimeo's Cameo.
Lights, camera, cameo
Vimeo acquired video and editing app Cameo last year, and has just given it some new features to help editing mobile movies.
Cameo 2.0 for iOS now gives users a more streamlined experience, letting them import video straight from the camera roll.
Once imported, videos can be trimmed and spliced together with just a few taps. Videos are also rendered locally for quicker edits, even if you’re offline.
Finishing touch
Cameo also supporst high-res 1080p video and features a slick new interface.
As a final sweetener, you can also add text or music to your video directly from your iPhone.
Once your video is complete it can be uploaded directly to Vimeo, or shared via SMS, email or the major social platforms.
