LinkedIn now lets users add SlideShare presentations to their Profiles.
Links and shares
SlideShare announced the news in a blog post, explaining users can now directly upload SlideShare content to their LinkedIn account.
“We know that your SlideShares are often part of your professional identity — they can showcase your projects, ideas, research and more.
“That’s why we’ve made it easy for you to add your presentations directly from SlideShare to your LinkedIn profile, with just a click of a button,” the company explained.
Best foot forward
SlideShare is a popular community designed to share presentations and other professional content. The company was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012 and currently attracts over 60 million unique monthly visitors.
By adding a new way for users to jazz up their profile with more visual content LinkedIn might boost its engagement levels, which currently lags behind rivals Facebook and Twitter.
