Getting through the clutter of multiple social media streams, as a user or a business, can take up valuable time and resources.
A new app is here to help users organise their social networks.
Drip feed
Undrip is an iOS app that pulls content from the major social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr – and streams it all in the one location.
Undrip, which just exited its private beta, looks to highlight the best content in the user’s social feeds, removing all the unnecessary chatter and irrelevant posts.
A cut above
Unlike other social media aggregation apps such as Flipboard and Pulse, Undrip focuses on the social behaviour of the user.
The app's algorithm analyses relationships, interactions and tweets to determine what content is relevant to the user.
Users can post straight from the app and also perform standard functions such as likes and retweets.
Social savvy
For businesses, Undrip can be used to consolidate the pertinent information and save time sifting through social chatter.
Undrip is available as a free download at Apple's app store, and an Android version is coming soon.
