LinkedIn has relaunched CardMunch, its free iPhone app which scans information from physical business cards.
Photograph to file
CardMunch works by taking a picture of a physical business card and matching this information to the person’s LinkedIn profile.
Background and connections
The new version of CardMunch lets users see the mutual contacts, work history, education and more of the people whose business card they photograph. Notes can now be added while pictures of cards are being processed.
A virtual rolodex
Other features include an upgraded camera module and a refreshed cover flow design, which lets users swipe through their virtual business card collection.
CardMunch is free and available from the iTunes App Store.
