AAMI is giving people who like their Facebook page the chance to star in a new TVC for Safe Driver Rewards.
The campaign is the first of its kind in Australia and will screen in prime-time spots across the country.
Like to be on TV
People who like AAMI’s Facebook page will go in the running to star alongside 'Rhonda', the character who features in the company's current TV spots.
Ultimately 80 Facebook profile pictures will be selected to replace the existing characters in the Safe Driver Rewards TVC, which will air on Network Ten on November 23 this year.
AAMI insures itself with social media
The campaign, conceived by Badjar Oglivy and DTDigital, marks AAMI's first foray into social media and introduces a new channel for customers to interact with the brand.
The TVC will be promoted on the Hamish and Andy website, of which AAMI is the exclusive sponsor.
