Messenger gets Lovey-Dovey

Facebook Messenger released a whimsical feature a few weeks ago that sends an automatic notification of romantic themes for new relationship statuses.

Feels and emojis

Just got into a new relationship? Well, prepare yourself when you make it “Facebook official,” because the new notification includes:

  • An AR overlay of cascading hearts
  • Custom emojis to promote love struck convos
  • Custom text colours and nicknames to keep it fun
  • Prioritising your loved one in the Active tab to keep them top of the list for chatting.

Easy to access

The newly minted filters and stickers are also available on Messenger video chat, bringing the spontaneity of hug and kiss décor to real-time conversations.

Users need only call or open a conversation, tap the star icon and enjoy all the available effects and filters, bringing a bit of colour and cuteness to your romantic conversations.
