Twitter might have just found a way to help users find the best content on the platform, without having to trawl through mountains of tweets.
It's called Twitter Moments and it looks very promising.

Twitter Moments is a new tab where Twitter curates the best of what's happening whenever you log in.
"Every day, people share hundreds of millions of Tweets. We know finding these only-on-Twitter moments can be a challenge, especially if you haven’t followed certain accounts. But it doesn’t have to be.
"Moments helps you find the best of Twitter as easily as tapping an icon – regardless of who you follow," Twitter explained in a blog post.

Here's how it works. Moments is identified by a Lightning Bolt tab, which when tapped reveals the top stories and trends as they emerge throughout the day.
Click on a 'Moment' and you'll be shown an introduction to the topic, while swiping unveils content including tweets, video, images, GIFs and Vines.
Moments can be favourited and retweeted, while you can drill down further into categories such as Entertainment and Sports.
Needle in a haystack
Moments has the potential to address one of Twitters major problems: connecting users with relevant, timely content.
Looking further, it could also help boost Twitter's bottom line by allowing advertisers to buy ads around content more likely to attract more eyeballs.
