Healthcare provider Medibank Private has just announced three new apps for smartphones.

Three times the choice

The three apps are designed to make using Medibank’s services easier, give medical advice and promote healthier lifestyles. 

Claim on the go

The ‘Medibank Mobile’ app lets users make claims, check membership details and find nearby healthcare providers.

Ailments

The ‘Sympton Checker’ app suggests treatments for minor injuries and illnesses. The app will also recommend users seek help or contact a professional. It provides Australian emergency numbers and allows users to save their health providers' details. 

Health

The ‘Energy Balancer’ displays how much exercise is needed to balance given popular foods.

Giving value to customers

The free apps join Health Hub, Medibank’s online resource for healthy living, as another value-add the healthcare provider is offering both its customers and the general public.

Medibank Mobile is available for iPhone and Android smartphones, while Sympton Checker and Energy Balancer are currently only available on iPhones. All the apps can be downloaded from Apple’s iTune’s store.
