Microsoft has just launched a new service that allows business users to upload and distribute video content throughout their organisation.
Virtual office
Microsoft announced Office 365 Video is designed to make sharing content easier and more engaging.
Microsoft describes the service as an "intranet website portal". We think it looks more like YouTube for brands.
Tape time
Admins can create channels based around various topics. For example, training videos and OH&S might get their own channels.
Channels are easily searchable and users can set preferences for who can upload, view and distribute videos.
Videos can be accessed via desktop and mobile devices, or inserted into company emails.
Next steps
With video becoming an increasing part of social and digital communications, Office 365 Video looks like a fresh way for companies to share information internally.
