SMK’s app of the week: Remente

Productivity apps are well and good, but there' no point working if you don't have down time – both on and offline.

While there are plenty of mindful and meditation apps out there, Remente takes a new approach.

Remente (pronounced Ree-men-tay) is a virtual life coach of sorts. You begin by completing a series of questions about your happiness around your health, relationships, career, family, finances, and social life.

The app then whips up a graph to show where you're sitting on the happiness scale, and helps you set goals and develop steps for improving the areas requiring most attention.

Moody mobile

Features like a Mood Tracker let you update how you're feeling and monitor how this fluctuates over time. Remente also offers courses to help keep you on track.

Rather than switching off your mobile to achieve inner bliss, Remente wants to help you make piece with your mobile.

The app is also aimed for businesses, and claims its tools help employees work more efficiently and productively. Maybe even happier too.
