Top three Facebook marketing tools

For all its ups and downs, Facebook remains the social media platform of choice for many marketers. Facebook's reach, analytics, targeting and pricing is hard to beat.

However Facebook has a lot of moving parts and it can be a challenge getting the most out of the platform – whether you're advertising or looking to boost engagement.

Thankfully there’s a legion of tools out there ready to give you a helping hand on the social network. Here are three of our favourites.

1.North Social

North Social has been around for awhile and has deftly streamlined its offering for brands. The platform offers a suite of over 20 Facebook Page apps covering everything from Calendars to Contests and Instagram.

With over 100,000 apps so far downloaded by leading brands including L'Oreal, Sony Music and 7-Eleven, North Social has enough firepower to boost your Facebook needs.

2. Post Planner

While there are many services that allow you to schedule Facebook posts in advance, only Post Planner lets you schedule posts with photos or video.

Sure it costs US$4.95 per month but with Facebook posts containing images and video statistically more likely to engage your audience, Post Planner pays for itself in no time.

Post Planner also allows you to White Label their apps so products are more personalised.

3. Tabsite

Tabsite offers a range of apps designed to boost engagement. The idea is simple: fans must complete a simple task (sharing content, signing in via Pinterest) to unlock deals or discounts.

Tabsite is a great way to make sure you're getting maximum returns when offering special deals on Facebook.
