Muted Words giveS you more ways to filter out offensive content and users.
While Twitter's long offered the ability to unfollow, block, and mute, the powers of blocking have been enhanced.
You can now mute words, phrases, emoji, usernames, and hashtags that are offensive. There's also the ability to report harassment and abusive tweets.
Voting block
Muted Words comes hot on the heels on the recent US election, where abusive and offensive tweets (and Facebook posts) reached all-time highs.
The experience has also led to Twitter clamping down on certain alt-right Twitter users.
