YouTube has rolled out embeddable Subscribe buttons that makes it easier to follow YouTube channels.
One click
The Subscribe button can be embedded on a company website and lets visitors subscribe to a brand's YouTube channel without having to visit its YouTube page.
For users with paid channels, the Subscribe button will direct users to these pages instead of automatically subscribing them.
Follow the funnel
While the update is a minor one, it's part of a larger push from YouTube to funnel users into more premium, and eventually paid content.
By allowing users to more easily subscribe brands may well see a boost in YouTube views.
