Images can be worth their weight (and then some) in gold when it comes to digital and social.
With this in mind, Google now lets you save images to your account directly on your mobile.
Imagine that
Google Chrome on mobile now features a star below images when you perform an image search.
Simply tap on the star and the image will be saved to your Google account, located at google.com/save.
Mobile moments
Only images that appear on images.google.com can be saved, which excludes geographic-specific sites ending in .au or .nz,. for example.
And the feature does not currently work with desktop or web.
However if you're out-and-about and find that perfect photo, Google's latest update is a nice way to begin January.
