LinkedIn’s new Content Strategy Guide Rocks

LinkedIn has just released the modestly titled Big Rock Power Chords, a content strategy guide aimed at helping marketers master killer content.

LinkedIn announced the news in a blog post.

"We’ve compiled a quick set of checklists being used by leading content marketers around the globe (including LinkedIn Marketing Solutions) to create content that drives awareness, leads, engagement and ultimately revenue."

Content kings

LinkedIn says 70% of B2B marketers are creating more content than they were one year ago.

However over half of these admit they don't have a social strategy, while 58% of those that do admit their strategy is not effective.

Checklist time

To combat this the Big Rock Power Chords offers a set of checklists to get you on the road to conquering content.

Checklists including "8 Steps to Creating your First Big Rock", "9 Ways to Promote your Content" and "6 Success Metrics to be Mindful Of".

Rock on

While LinkedIn isn't famed for its engagement levels, the Big Rock Power Chords checklists can apply across platforms and other digital properties.
